Since I had the Alfa 156, I had parked it in a roof-less car park. With the rent went up, the price difference for an indoor shelter became justifiable. However, the Novitec front spoiler didn’t provide enough clearance to let the car get in and out of the multi-storey car park without scratching the spoiler. I decided to remove the front spoiler. Then I found the front bumper’s paint is really in bad condition.

It seems to me that the spoiler caused the paint damage and it was just unbearable by looking at it in such condition.  After 2 months, I had time to give it another repaint work from the previous shop.

I’m really excited by the result. It looks stunning under the intense sun. And I do prefer the light colour to the dark ones on the Alfa 156, the light colour is able to show all the subtle curve lines.

I also like the appearance without the Novitec front spoiler more. Without the spoiler, the side looking is even more balanced, I think.

With spoiler, the front looks a bit too heavy from the side

Anyway, I also had the spoiler repainted but gave it to a friend of mine who wanted it.
