Trilogy of clutch issue

One day, I felt that the clutch didn’t bounce back as sharp as usual. Very soon, I couldn’t engage any gear by depressing the clutch pedal though the pedal still bounced back.

Since the clutch pedal did bounce back, my mechanic suspected that the brake master cylinder has gone. By replacing the cylinder, it worked.

However, the story didn’t end here.

The most impactful repair – air intake hose

I have long been irritated by the weak torque of my Alfa 156 TS. That’s why I was so persistent to upgrading the final gear to the facelift version. The upgrade improves the low rpm performance, albeit it is still not quite right until I found the root cause eventually, I reckon. The broken air intake hose.

Renew ignition components

My mechanic suggested to me that it was time to replace the spark plug on my Alfa 156. Following his suggestion, I decided to examine all ignition components. As a result, the findings are quite alarming.
