The procedure of replacing Alfa156 pollen filter is different between the pre face-lifted and face-lifted models. It is not difficult but not a very simple task either.
To have the pollen filter replaced in my pre face-lifted model, I had to remove the scuttle. To remove the scuttle, I need to remove the screen wiper arm, a few screws and fasteners too.
Take the chance to clean the air conditioning blower and the airbox.
Have the new Alfa156 pollen filter installed
Looking at the condition of the replaced filter, I decided that I will replace it every 2 years onward.
