I am so happy with the Nakamichi CD500 head unit, the look, the sound quality, etc. But these units are also fragile. The head unit started not to read CDs. Yeah, I can easily replace it with a newer, cheaper one but they won’t match the interior that well and this is why I paid the high price for this used CD500. So choices that I had:
Just 2 years ago, I replaced all three sagged engine mounts. The front engine mount sagged again. It was genuine with less than 8000km milage. how come……My mechanic told me I’m not alone. Someone has similar experience with the genuine engine mounts. No choice, bought another one
All of sudden the annoying front suspension squeak came back. Even though the 156 is notorious for the durability of its front suspension, it is just extremely annoying when it did occur. From the video clip, you can hear how bad it is.
The squeak was so loud and basically be always be there. It means that any travel of the suspension would cause the squeak.
