The boot floor in my 156 fell about an inch from where it should be. I always doubt that the tool set in the boot might not be the original one with the wrong height. It resulted in the falling of the boot floor.

Real causes of the falling boot floor
On a local car selling site, I found an Alfa specialist and he claimed availability of many Alfa used parts. With a call, I got a quotation for the original tool set and the price is reasonable. When I got there, I found that my tool set actually is authentic, its condition is even better than the one being sold. By looking at the scraped car, I know why my boot floor fell. It is because the nut at the centre and 3 pieces of foam underneath the spare wheel were missing that caused the issue.

Trivial stuff and inexpensive to fix. But it is really a pleasure to look at the result, no more bending and falling boot floor.
